The Health Department has recently posted a draft of the COVID-19 vaccination plan. Our school health expert will provide updates when they are available. She is in contact with Cynthia from Copper Queen, who is providing updates from Dr. Miller.

Cochise County COVID-19 Update 10/20/20

As of today, there are 2,034 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Cochise County. Of those confirmed, 974 cases are from Douglas Az. According to the CDC, there have been 5,574 Covid-19 cases in Arizona in the last 7 days. Cochise County school benchmarks indicate there is no longer a decline in Covid-19 cases.

A Message from Dr. Miller, Chief Medical Officer:

"Hello everyone,

COVID-19 cases continue a slow, steady rise. Cochise County has gone from 85 active cases last week to 114. Fifty five active cases are in Douglas and now Tombstone has a few active cases. Sierra Vista has 23 to 27 active cases. Bisbee is back to zero active cases."
